As we work to pursue being a role model for professionalism in the mining sector, we are devoted to the standards of sound corporate governance, commensurate with the proposals of the King IV report on corporate governance. We are also focused to an integrative approach in our efforts to meet regulatory obligations both locally and globally.
The Kalahari Ocotillo Code of Ethics, which incorporates the moral values, must be followed if the board’s goal is to uphold the highest levels of corporate governance and ensure strong ethical behavior throughout the Business.
As stated in our Corporate Governance framework, the function and duties of the Directors include, among other things, creating and upholding standards of conduct, disclosing and managing potential conflicts of interest, and representing the interests of Shareholders and investors to guarantee a successful and long-lasting corporation.
